Bisbilla Bath (karnataka) or Aarsi Parapu Sadam (tamil)

I love this dish very easy and tasty.. It come under very quick for small kids. Mostly kannada and tamil nadu people love this.. When i was in India last year my neighbour aunty did this i tasted and took the recipe from her.. thanks to her.


Ingredients
1 cup toor dal
1 cup rice
red chillies
garlic cloves -2
mustard seeds
onions
tomatoes
mix vegg(optional i didn't used in my dish)
curry leaves
ghee
chenna dal
split uradha dal
small cup of tamarind juice
water
green chillies
salt

Preparation:

1.Take a kadai pour ghee once it get heat add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chenna dal, split uradh dal , sliced garlic, sliced chillies, red chillies,fry it this is jsut seasoing
2.Now add sliced onions saute it for some time add tomatoes (If you want to add mixed veggies add it to the  tomato and onions)
3.Now add soaked toor dal and boil it for some time
4.Add salt and tamarind juice and add juice
5. Pressure cook for 2 -3 whistle on low flame
6. Once the pressure gone shift it to hot pack or some vessel..

Very yummy and easy dish got ready


Just u can serve with appalam with this dish..


Note : You can do this dish with the left over rice..

only modification is cooked toor dal and left over rice is the difference, which means u have to cook the dal before mixing the ingredients and cook on 1 pressure whistle.
